In the northwest of Slovenia, on the southwest side of Triglav National Park, you'll find the Soca river system. She makes her way over 200 million-year-old limestone, which makes the water exceptionally clear. The last ice age left a mineral resin in these mountains that cause a vibrant and unreal-looking blue or green tone to the waters. Additionally, the river bottoms are light in color with white gravel beaches, surrounded by densely forested alpine mountains.
